Our experienced team delivers professional nursing and daily living support with warmth, dignity and genuine compassion..

Nursing Care

24-hour clinical support delivered by experienced registered nurses. Personalised care plans, medication management and continuous monitoring provide reassurance for residents and families.

Residential Care

Support with daily living in a warm and social environment. Encouraging independence while offering help with personal care, meals and routines whenever needed.

Respite Care

Short-term stays for recovery, rest or family relief. Professional care in a welcoming setting, whether for rehabilitation after hospital or a planned break, caring for your loved has never been easier.

Nursing

Our highly experienced and dedicated team of nurses and support staff, provide 24 hour care, 365 days a year. Our quality of care standards, as set by CQC (Care Quality Commission) are continually delivered and we aim to surpass expectations year upon year.

Medical staff ensure care plans are regularly monitored and frequent meetings with residents and relatives ensure that everyone is involved when it comes to the running of the care home. The nursing team liaise with outside agencies and this provides us with close working relationships with local GPs, social services, pharmacy’s and local health centres. This cohesive arrangement ensures that all medical services and facilities required by residents are clearly accessible.

 

Merafield embrace the need for change, ensuring that the best possible care can be provided to all of our residents.

We are very proud of our Six Steps + Accreditation with St. Luke’s Hospice, which we have consistently maintained for many years. This accreditation focuses on quality end of life care and evidences our ongoing commitment and passion for palliative care.

Over the last 12months we have introduced two new Electronic Systems:

  • Access – for all electronic medication records
