Costes required a set of premium red slippers designed to complement their in-room experience and reinforce the brand’s signature sense of style.
They received a tailored selection of sizes to suit different guest needs, ensuring a consistent, high-end look and feel across every room while delivering the comfort and durability expected in daily luxury hospitality use.

Project Brief
Costes wanted an in-room accessory that felt instantly iconic; something guests would associate with Parisian elegance the moment they stepped into their suite.
The brief called for bespoke red hotel slippers designed to elevate the guest experience, with a rich, confident color, a soft premium feel, and durable construction suited for daily luxury hospitality use.

Discovery
We started with a detailed discovery to understand how the red slippers would be used in real life: when they’re presented to guests, where they’re placed in-room, how frequently they’re replaced and the quantities needed across suites and room categories.
We discussed the desired look & feel (bold, elegant, unmistakably Costes), reviewed brand guidelines, and aligned on key decisions like slipper sizing, sole thickness, comfort level, fabric and lining choices.

Conceptualization
Based on the brief, we developed several design directions and translated them into clear mockups that showed the slipper silhouette, the richness of the red tone, logo placement, and the overall balance between elegance and comfort.
We tested multiple construction options, refined stitching lines and finishing details, and proposed premium upgrades such as embroidered branding.

Production and Delivery
Once the design was approved, we moved into manufacturing with strict quality control at each stage: fabric selection, precise color matching, cutting, stitching, branding application, sole assembly, and final packaging.
Finally, we coordinated delivery so the slippers arrived on time, in perfect condition, and ready for the housekeeping team to place directly in guest rooms.
